LED masks are everywhere, but do they actually do anything? In this video I explain what photobiomodulation is and why it is not the same as 'shining red light on your face'. We talk about the parameters that truly matter — wavelength, power reaching the skin, time and dose —, about why more light does not mean better results, and about the differences between a professional device and many home masks. The key idea: before focusing on the design or an Instagram photo, ask yourself what technical parameters the device uses.
